Van Geel Schröder is a company founded by Daan van Geel and Mareille Schröder. The company was launched on 1 July 2006. Previously, Daan van Geel operated under the name "van Geel Horses", while Mareille Schröder worked at the stable "'t Hofstee" in Lattrop, with which the new company continues to cooperate closely. Van Geel Schröder is dedicated to the training and sale of jumping horses, through to an international level. The company is located in Gees, in the southern corner of Drenthe province, which lies in north-eastern Netherlands.

Daan van Geel is primarily responsible for the purchase and sale of jumping horses, and engages in training horses as well. Mareille Schröder focuses chiefly on training jumping horses through to an international level. Mareille Schröder has already enjoyed several successes at an international level. In March 2006, she finished second in the Grand Prix of Amsterdam, riding Parabel. A few weeks later, she won the Grand Prix of Eindhoven with Pino.
